So, I'm visiting home for the weekend, and it's intereting to see the dynamics i grew u in from a somewhat outsiders perspective. It's hard to believe i lived through it. Don'tmistake me, my family is wonderful and loves me very much, they're just loud, controlling, and fucking crazy. Plus, trying to argue with any one of them (with the exception of my youngest, 10 year old, brother) is like arguing with a brain damaged three year old. That's how it feels, anyways, and classes centered on logic aren't helping me deal with this. "if a, then b... a, therefore b" "you don't love me anymore" At least they're still happy to see me... I will want a hug of santy when i return, from "cult" friends. |

Today I have learned how much my mood is affected by my morning. Yesterday I was awoken by loud japanese rock. I was in a lethargic and grumpy mood the rest of the day. Today, i was awoken by kisses and had breakfast with richard the "gerbil". I have been in a fantastic mood all day. I love fantastic moods, they make me love other things... like losing at chess and excercize. Out of curiosity, who out there likes editing and poetry? |

Hmmm... today may only be half a skirt day, as I can't fully appreciate the weather with frozen legs. I don't think that the weather understands that i'm wearing skirts in appreciation of her fine work and in hopes that it will stay. However, if i stop, perhaps she will take it as an insult and bring back the cold. Oh, the convoluded workings of my mind. I get very superstitious about spring weather because i hate the cold so much. In other news, there was a soc test. I blamed the white man. Also, I'm getting the hang of lj. I was hesitant because i've had a xanga for about 2.5 years, so i really know how it works. This technology is new and foriegn. Oh, if anyone is planning on taking a trip to walmart before friday, and wouldn't mind company, would you let me know? please. it's not urgent, just helpful for pulp larp. |

Alright... i'm really going to try to have patience and figure this lj out. (it seems to be the "in" thing to do) Today made me happy... it was the first skirt day in a good long while. There was much snuggling, frisbee, and dancing in my day. I think that makes me happy. can't be sure. In philosophy, we're discussing how none of our thoughts are our own, because everything is predetermined to happen the way it does. I've decided to adopt this philosophy as an excuse for my own behavior. The downside is that i can never be truely sure what i'm thinking. Ah well... |

So... it is currently almost 8pm on a thursday night, and I am ready for sleep. This is ridiculos! I had a long nap today too! Ah, well... goes to show that I belong on team woman for Dairyland. Hilarious highlights of the day include: Being assigned a reserch paper on the movie "The Core", Jeremiah making bird noises, black flowers on a black shirt (and pretty much all of dinner), "Le meme de vous" as a response to every french phrase, and dreaming about sun-bathing vampires. |
